i close my eyes, and the flashback starts.

ecstatic

i just got my card. ;D (click for the larger pic)

wee! i'm soo happy. ;)
today's my sister's graduation at spc but we didn't come, si mommy lang. so it's just valerie, my brother and me at home. and then it's gonna be just him, kasi nga we're leaving for the ILC. which is, by the way, tomorrow. ;)) di obvious na excited ako no? lulz
i'm soo hyper today, ewan. i feel like jumping up and down. i can't wait for daddy to see our cards! ;) and i thought na the whole prefect thing would make my Homeroom grade drop.
Chemistry and Geometry were totally expected, but English. Ugh! I've always had this thing with english teachers, i always, always end up being hated by them. whatever. i guess i'm never gonna be able to suck up as well as shariah.
see you in a week. ;)
p.s. i'm trying to figure out how twitter works on mobile, but no luck. sigh

have you seen her?

if you haven't seen the music video, here's a link.
i wonder if myx/mtv phil will ever air it. haha

good karma

i'm such a coward. I went to the party, but i didn't even say hi to Yssa. I'm so dumb, not to mention rude. Well, not totally. Nagmano ako to her mom, had small talk with Kuya Scud-the graduate, congratulated Yaeve-the valedictorian. I didn't get to mano to her father, though. Everytime I tried coming up to him, he would go somewhere else.

Nahihiya ako kay yeye. (: 'Best friends' daw, and nung nagkita kami, it was like we didn't know eachother. That's the thing with Yssa & me, we always wait for the other person to make the first move. huh

my cousins & I went to a cafe yesterday to print out the stencil that Valerie needed in designing our shirts. they didn't have any change to a thousand, so we went to Jollibee. and the funniest thing happened. When it was our turn, the cashier took forever to take our order and we were pretty pissed since walang ice cream. the total was like, 300 pesos or something and the change was supposed to be 700 or so, but he gave us P1 200 instead.
Me: huy, tignan niyo yung change o. nagtalang tana siya. bright ah.
Queency: hala oo no. ahayy, te libre na yung inorder natin eh?
Princess: uy wag kayo ganyan.
Me: kunin natin? wala man siya nakatingin
Queency: *laughs
Me: Baliw, daw di kayo YFC ah.

so we gave it back na lang and the person was all, "oh my gahd, thank you ma'am, thank you gid!" see, i can be nice. x3

When we got home, around 6-ish, i got a text from PM/Paulo, urging us to go to Ray's house for his birthday. I wanted to go so bad and i felt pretty guilty since i promised Ray i was coming, but mom won't let us, so we asked for Daddy's permission instead. Ah, the perks of separate parents. lollerz. We got there, and they were waiting for us. (: Precious and I were all over the chocolate fountain. I was like, 'long, isipin mo nutella to. woo!' and we dipped everything you can imagine. from marshmallows to the papaya stuff Ray's mom bought that tasted pretty bad. Sir Javison was there, and i was so happy that he wasn't mad at Valerie and me for what we did. We also had a go at the videoke while there was a wake two houses away. so much for the earth hour. speaking of which, this morning i overheard my tito's boy and he was all, "sabi sa balita kagabi mag brown.out daw ng isang oras pag 8:30. sa Manila lang pala yun, naghanda pa kami ng mga kandila." xDD anyway, Ray made strawberry cheesecake and it was awesome. Si Daddy kasi, he forgot to buy cream cheese. nice. Then around 10-ish, Ray's dad drove all of us home. well not really everyone, cause i think some of them slept at Ray's. His mom and dad were soo nice talaga. lol.

I heard Sha has been slaving over the school paper, since Dominic's been doing nothing. that's it. I'm signing up for harbinger next year. I can always quit when it gets too much, anyway. :D

shaken not stirred

Jue, Ate Janin and Papa Rey[ulollerz]'s graduation today. I was supposed to watch with Valerie and the other YFC's, but then i got too lazy, soo yeah.
anyway, congrats to Jue and Ate Janin! ba't di ko inaate si Jue? ewan, di naman siya nagagalit eh. lolz
super bonding kami nila Daddy this morning. woke up around 5-ish and went to NFA with Val. He was teaching Val tennis while i was the pulot girl-nah, just kidding. i just went jogging. when we got home, knock out agad. i just woke up. ( ; and tomorrow, we'll do it again and during the afternoon we're making blueberry cheesecakes. woot! haha. Val and I told him about the cheesecake in Foodstuff kasi, and he told us it wasn't any good, and that he was gonna make some na lang. yeyy
last night we went to my tito's dinner party, and the night before that, ate rob aka ash's mom had a party or something at their place, but i didn't come. di kasi kami close ehh. lulz. i saw mina's little sister-dunno what her name is. (; she was soo cute with her little handbag and everything, but i got intimidated to come up to her, with her mom there and all. haha. tonight yssa's mom is throwing a party cause yaeve, yssa's sister was valedictorian. idunno if i'm coming. i haven't talked to or seen yssa in god knows how long, and idunno what i would say if i saw her or something. or worse, what she would think of say to me. x3

boring.

this is what's been happening to my summer:
10am - wake up, then go back to bed
12nn - mom wakes me up, lunch, take a bath
1pm - read a series of unfortunate events on the computer, then
1-3pm - blackout. srsly. this happens everyday!
3pm - power's back, but the internet's off. continue reading
6pm-10pm - tv
11pm - shower, more tv
1am - bed

pero pag sinipag ako, lumalabas ako. KUNG walang araw. ayoko na talagang umitim. lol
and i stopped reading Dorian Gray. i abhor classics. it's so embarassing, i can't even finish a single classic. T__T
wuthering heights? it's been like, 2 years or so and sa gitna pa lang ako.
a tale of two cities? it was the best of times, it was the worst of of times. it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness. hanggang dun lang
Dorian Gray? soooo gay. lulz

so what's with the Tagalog thing? I've been reading Bob Ong, of course; since i can't find Jessica Zafra anywhere.
cannot wait for cebu! xDD

cebu or no cebu?

i got a cold, and i've been in bed all day reading The Picture of Dorian Gray, and i still feel quite horrible. ugh
anyway, i've been thinking about the whole conference thing in Cebu, and i remembered the reason why i hated attending YFC events so much-the camping. i hate going to far places and bringing beddings and stuff. How can I possibly enjoy Cebu while worrying about my pillows and bags and everything else? Then Valerie hit me on the head[literally], and told me, "kung ayaw, maraming dahilan, kung gusto mo, may paraan" or something like that, and she was totally right. Besides, this trip is practically free, and i get to go there with all of my friends.. I don't wanna miss out on this experience. And besides, i might not be able to come with next year, since i'm gonna be a senior and all.. but still, lots of bulky stuff to bring.. for 7 days! err, ewan.
gotta go, i'm feeling a little dizzy.

-will reply to your messages when i get better.

cause i'm mr. brightside

Friday the 13th was a horrible day.
My adviser called home and told me to go to school. I thought she just wanted me to talk about something Valerie did, but she also found out about what I did, which was worse.
See, I'm always late. No matter how hard I try to get to school earlier, i'm always, always late. There's been some improvement, though. I used to be late 3-4 days a week. Then after she threatened to suspend me, it lessened to once or twice a week. lolz
Anyway, Aruelo told me she won't sign my clearance if she didn't talk to either of my parents, and i'm pretty sure my dad's been tired of going to the prefect all the time, so i sort of helped him out by er, signing my clearance instead. genius, eh? i though so. I totally forgot that for an elderly woman, Aruelo had excellent memory. She knew everyone she signed and she got even madder when she found out about what i did. I would have been sorry for doing this, but then she kept saying that i purged her signature, and i wanted to laugh so bad. lulz
So i told my dad over dinner last night and he was pretty cool about it. I know, dads ought to have been really mad, but that's mom. lolz. And what i also like about my dad, is he's not gonna tell anything to my mom. Whereas if I told mom, she'd freak and tell dad and make him freak at us too.
I still dunno what the verdict is, though. But i've decided to stop thinking about it. I've decided to stop cursing God's name under my breath throughout Ma'am Aruello/Aruelo, Ma'am Bermejo, and Ma'am Paclibar's lecture. And I've decided to look on the bright side, like Val and I not getting expelled, or daddy not freaking out.
And you know what's THE brightest side? lollerz. Valerie's going to the ILC in Cebu and she's been giving out solicitation letters and Tita Malou-RD's mom gave Valerie wayy too much(not that we're complaining!) and Val decided to share it with me and poof! I get to go! xDD I swear, when Val opened the letter at home her eyes got huge and she started happy jumping. hah
woo-hoo! God is great! I can't believe it! haha. ;))

i look like a bad version obama. ;(

it was hella fun.
meeting time was at 7, and we were supposed to get there on a jeep.
but it all went different. i went there at 8, and we waited for Shariah and Kristan's go signal. They went to the place first, to check if there was water. Then tricycles saw us flocking by the street, and they all offered to give us rides. One tricycle was gonna charge us P20, so we said we'd ride the other tricycle na lang, then he was like, "sige, 15 na lang." ( ;

we left around 9:30-10, and PM bought 50 ice bukos(to yeye: yung kay ate tata gud xDD) and i asked Francis and Christian to carry the two gallons of ice cream that was donated.
it was sooo far. it took like, 30 minutes or so. And when we got there, we had to go down the stairs and there were like, 100 steps or something.. and nakakahilo pa cause there were weird patterns on the steps and you wouldn't know if you should step down na. And we didn't get two buy water-you know, the really big ones.. cause Val said water was sold there. And she was right, but you had to climb back up to buy. Huh. thanks a lot, Val. and we didn't get to cook all the tilapia cause we ran out of charcoal, but that's okay. We had the pool all to ourselves, and we swam all day long. we went home around.. 5-ish when PM texted the driver. lulz. sorry, didn't get his name. xDD

It was fun, all right. more people came. last year, we were 21. kanina we were 25. lulz
anyway, i look horrible! i look like a black person. kainis!
i am so gonna wear a jacket during summer classes. and i wouldn't care if people laughed.
btw, meron daw summer job sa jollibee.. 200/day. i hope it's true! ;D

I got an I heart ? written on the back of my hand

school's planning to split us up again. As in, the top 30 of St. Jude's gonna stay as the first section next year, then the remaining18 are gonna be distributed to different sections. Fuck it, no fair! Not because I won''t have anyone to help me out on physics and trig, or because i don't have anyone to erm, comment on our teachers' ridiculous grammar; Just coz. I've been with these people for 3 years, damnit! you can't just split us up like that! i mean, yeah, Sir Javison is one of the most supportive and best teachers we've had. But heck, Sir Javison's already leaving, yet they have to follow his stupid suggestion, just so that there would be some good students in every class! Damnit, i'm indefinitely pissed.

Yesterday, we went to school to finish our clearance. One of the requirements for english was the portfolio, but i didn't know that, i just thought it was another thing that the MP[mukhang points] ppl could use or something. So I went to Ma'am Aleta and asked her about it. "so ma'am, what if i didn't pass my portfolio? okay lang po?" i don't want to pass my portfolio, someone in class sat 0n it and the spine's been split into four. it looks awful. then she said, "Okay lang, pero mababawasan ang grade mo." Gee, Alvior, that's great news! i could really use another pull on my average, thanks! ugh. then, i went back upstairs and Ma'am Bermejo announced the top 10. woah, Anna ranked first for the 3rd quarter! lulz. i swear, Sha was totally crushed. She had that same look on her face whenever Klier and I made up, or when we were singing or talking about something she has no idea about. hah. Anyway, that obviously means that the grades are done and that Ma'am Aleta was lying. whatevs. Anyway, grabe talaga ang nagagawa ng points dito, ha. Chard, he's not exactly the brightest person in class, but he ranked 2nd sa points, i think. so because of that, he got into the top 10. uh-may-zing! ulollerz. anyway, congrats, Chard!

Ma'am Aleta's still gonna be our English teacher next year, since Ma'am Pedregoza's quitting (and i'm very happy about that. Sure, the Romeo and Juliet thing she had with her class was awesome, but after insulting us like last year's prom was any good, i couldn't be any happier with her leaving).

RD! kainis ka. i didn't get to watch GG last night because of you. ;pp

This morning, i had gone to the bank to reactivate my account and after this post, i'm off to RD's to watch GG online together. then tomorrow, we're gonna go swimming at Señeres with almost everyone in class. I hope this one's gonna be as fun as last year's.

ciao!

btw, to Greysh: here's The Chronicle

crap, crap, crap

pm is going to kill me.
see, when paul(the editor-in-chief) found out that our paper was pretty good, he asked for a copy.
so i had one printed for him, without the errors, like the size of bruce's photo on the lifestyle part, the word premier(e), and spacings. that night, i had to tape the pages together. and the worst came. i sticked page 5 and page 2 together. so i had to take it out, now it looks like a grade 1 project. i suck. egad. the bigger problem: pm told me that since the new copy is better than the one we passed, we were going to exchange it with the one we passed. he's only seen the printed version, not the taped version.. the one ma'am aleta has has already been graded, obviously, but we just thought that she deserves to have a good copy to look at for the next _ years or so. lolz.
now, what the heck am i supposed to do?! printing costs 240 bucks. i don't have money to spare. ugh. i'm so stupid. crap, crap, crap. i cannot face PM or Paul on Tuesday.

woot!

i'm back!
how long has it been? lolz whatever.
now, back to the update.

the newspaper was the shizz. ours was the best looking one. we had that vintage-ish look, and and it was neat, and pretty and everything. while shariah's(the dream team-they had a lot of people from the school paper in her group) was in red and yellow, it almost looked like a magazine, but it was too messy. ariel's looked pretty messy too, in the computer--i didn't see the printout.
our content was pretty good, i guess. love your own, right? kami lang yung may octuplets and hp vs. twilight review, pero the review was pretty short coz i didn't have enough time to make it as awesome as greysh's. but that's okay, everyone in class was like, 'wow, twilight vs. harry potter! sinong panalo?' lol.

we spent 800 pesos for that, scratch that, 750. i didn't pay. xDD . seriously though. scanning, paper, test prints and stuff. ma'am aleta said 14 pages was the maximum, and we had 16, and we were pretty worried about that, baka kasi mabawasan ang grade. anyway, it was all worth it. i refuse to look at our newspaper years from now and say, "gosh, ito lang nagawa ko dati?"
moving on...

finals was fun. we didn't get to study, because we were too busy writing notes for the clearances. and clearing period was only 2 days! kainis. so we all opened books and copied and did the usual teamwork. then after the exams, naglabasan ang laptops and we did our newspapers.

summer, summer. wee!
we're having summer classes for some exam we're taking next year, which means more allowance! lol. i won't be having a summer job, though when the summer class is over.. cause i can't find one. kainis, just when i really need the money. urgh.

i really, really regret spending all my christmas money so foolishly. i should've saved up for the ILC in Cebu-another YFC event. dang it, i only have 2000 left! how am i supposed to make 3000 pesos in 3 weeks? urgh. i swear, i am soo coming to next year's ILC. kahit sa Manila pa yan.

on friends:
we had a section where we posted people's comments about PDA and stuff, and while i was encoding-ugh, hate that word!- the comments, PM was like, "you know, we really need a picture for this one." and i turned to tessa and daniel, who were embracing, with us there. and i whispered "gusto mo picture, yan o!" and he laughed, and i borrowed anne's phone and took a photo and next thing i knew, tessa was looking at me with that maldita look of hers. whatever, i'm tired of being her friend anyway.

yikes. i'm a senior. boo.
